  Shoes were left at the door and I wish I had brought slippers but it is clean and I found it just fine. I do wish I had known but with the number of places we stayed in, it was not something we were thinking about.

  Great hosts and a beautiful location to view the waves coming in. We watched a magnificent red sunset. Right in Rocky Harbour, close to many restaurants and entertainment. Along with an attractively decorated room with a comfortable bed. As well as providing a delicious breakfast, Peter and Diane offer lots of suggestions regarding local attractions including hiking in fabulous Gros Morne National Park.

  In terms of security, I liked that their main door was locked but any guest could get in as long as they had the code. Overall, I enjoyed our stay here and would happily return!

  Breakfast had to be booked the night before in terms of timing and selection and I believe they started as early as 7am and as late as 8:45/9am. Everything was made to order and if it wasn’t available, a suitable alternative was provided. No substitutions were allowed on the selections but we didn’t find this to be an issue. Very pleasant breakfasts with big portions.

  There is a small bulletin board with some menus and other posters about the local vendors which was helpful if you’re curious but our hosts knew more than enough to help guide us better to our destinations (and more!). They were equipped with maps and before we departed, they circled and x’d a number of places for us (most which we were planning on going anyway!). They were super helpful and knowledgeable in that regard and we felt that we weren’t lost or concerned about where we were going etc.

  This little unassuming BnB is nice but from the road, you might miss it if you don’t keep an eye out for the sign. It is by the water and is a good location in the little town of Rocky Harbour. There are a number of suites/rooms available and the hosts live on site (which is nice). There isn’t as much of a common area to sit and read a good book but the kitchen area is spacious and full of many teas/coffees and a plate of scones/biscuits. We had one of two upper suites with a nice large bed and a big spacious bathroom. The ceilings were a sloped in a spot but we prefer the charm of it—nothing too low that you spent your stay hunched over! The window in our room was rather small considering the possibility of a nice view but our hosts mentioned that they are going to be tackling that as part of their renovation plans.
