  We watched the 3 waitresses spend most of their time talking with each other not paying much attention to the patrons at all. I would not recommend this place.

  We are at Earl’s twice during our visit to Gros Morne park. The food is good, basic home cooking, at a reasonable price. The best thing we tried was the moose stew. If you’re looking for a simple, made at home type of meal, or a place that’s suitable for a family, this is a great choice.

  We came at the end of the season and felt as though we weren't welcome. One of the waitresses handed us our menu as we walked past the bar without greeting us other than to ask if it was just for two. We then had to get another waitresses attention to even order. Their name sake burger the earle burger is called such as they are made in house and all others are frozen. We ordered the earle and was told they did not have any left...this was around 5:30pm. We did have some questions about some items being we are in fact visitors and wanted to know what some of the local favorites were but again, seemed to annoy the waitress more than anything. We ordered the cod burger platter and the moose burger platter. The cod burger was served with half a slice of tomato, no tarter sauce, and over cooked unseasoned unsalted fries. The moose burger had a full tomato slice but was unseasoned meat served with the same overcooked fries. Everything was so bland with the exception of the coleslaw which was more mayo than cabbage. We were never asked how our meal was during, our plates were not cleared away and we finally had to get up to ask to pay and still they were very inhospitable.

  I highly recommend calling ahead to book a table. Long wait times - add at least half an hour to the estimate they give you. Fish n chips was bad - obviously cooked ahead of time and reheated for service. It was soft and chewy and we think it was microwaved. Moose burger was great. Good views out the windows. A reconfiguration of the dining area would allow a lot more seating.

  This place came highly recommended by several people we met—both locals and tourists. It struck me as a popular local place. The menu is extensive and there’s something for pretty much everyone. The restaurant is bigger than the others that we tried in the same area and there is a dairy bar in the gift shop.

  Personally my favourite place to eat in Rocky Harbour. The food is great, although it can be very busy in peak season. The Pizza is awesome.

  Everything was good but for the wait… there are plenty of other places that are just as good or even better. I would go back but would make a reservation/wait list.

  Make a reservation/get on their wait list because it’s busy and prime times are often full. We ate at the restaurant and had ice cream at the dairy bar. The food was simple and homey but well executed. They offer moose and the usual sea fare here which was all done well. No complaints on the meal. Service was quick and polite but not particularly friendly. Atmosphere is good and the layout of the establishment is good considering they have two separate sections for dairy bar + gift shop and the restaurant through one entrance. There is a patio but it was too chilly in the evenings to bother sitting out.
